L’approche agile, dite aussi méthode agile ou management agile désigne des pratiques de pilotage en cycle court. Cette technique permet une meilleure réactivité en adoptant la pratique des itérations.

Si cette approche tire son origine du Manifeste Agile crée par 17 développeurs informatiques aux USA en 2001, le management dit « agile » est sorti de son périmètre initial pour se diffuser de façon transverse dans l’organisation.

Aujourd’hui, l’Agile Management fait également référence à des pratiques de management reposant sur la confiance mutuelle entre collaborateurs, l’aplanissement des organigrammes ou encore le partage continu de l’information.

Il se définit comme un « ensemble de règles opératoires propres à un calcul ; suite de règles formelles (définition Le Robert). La notion d’algorithme n’est pas née avec l’arrivée du digital puisque le terme date du IXe siècle. Elle est l’invention d’un célèbre mathématicien persan.

Dans le domaine digital, les algorithmes, sont partout ou presque. Un programme informatique par exemple, est un ensemble d’algorithmes. Un autre exemple concret et bien connu : l’algorithme du célèbre moteur de recherche Google. Cela représente l’ensemble de règles définies par Google pour déterminer l’ordre dans lequel vous seront présentés les résultats.

L’API ou interface de programmation d’application est une connexion entre logiciels ou entre ordinateurs. Grâce aux API deux systèmes peuvent communiquer directement entre eux. Cela permet notamment d’automatiser et de programmer certaines tâches y compris si cela nécessite l’intervention de plusieurs systèmes. L’API évite de devoir exporter manuellement les données d’un système pour les importer dans un autre.

Le terme ATAWAD, est l’acronyme de « AnyTime, AnyWhere, Any Device ». La Business Intelligence aussi appelée informatique décisionnelle désigne l’ensemble des outils, applications et méthodes permettant aux organisations de collecter et de structurer les données afin de les analyser. L’objectif est de pouvoir mettre en place des outils d’analyse et d’aide à la décision efficace.

La BI permet de se baser sur des données mises à jour à l’instant T, renforçant d’autant plus la pertinence des analyses.

Le Big Data fait référence à la masse des données générées quotidiennement par les différents outils et applications. De plus en plus importantes, ces données représentent de forts enjeux notamment marketing et commerciaux. Encore faut-il être en mesure, de capter les datas, les analyser et les interpréter.

En français on parle aussi de mégadonnées ou encore de données massives. On caractérise le big data par la notion de « 3V » : volume, variété, vélocité. On dit également que le big data est le nouvel or noir de notre siècle.
